Leanne Cooper: A sleep deprived mother of 2 feral weirdos, who writes poetry and fiction at the ungodly hour of 3AM.
Leanne has been published numerous times, both online and in print, as well as releasing 2 collections of her poetry: ‘Awake at 3 AM’ and ‘All For You’; both of which can be purchased from Amazon.
Since her debut in 2017, Leanne has been performing at poetry/ literature events across Staffordshire and the West Midlands, including Wolverhampton Literary Festival 2018 as part of Poets Against Racism. In 2019, Leanne appeared twice on BBC Radio WM, reading her poetry live on air for ‘The Midlands Source’ presented by Vital, and was short listed to the final 3 poets who applied to become Wolverhampton’s first Poet laureate.
Since then, Leanne has written and recorded poetry for Overhear to be used on their app, has given several poetry workshops, and helps run the Lost Haiku Project, which was created by James Josiah, by taking over admin duties on the project’s Facebook page. Leanne also represents Lost Haiku at events and workshops.
